Mishawaka, IN – March 2026 – Mishawaka High School Athletics is proud to announce the 2026 inductees into the Mishawaka High School Athletic Hall of Fame. This year’s class celebrates seven outstanding athletes whose achievements and leadership have left lasting legacies for the Cavemen: Kelly DeMeulenaere-Stephens — Class of 1992 (Softball & Basketball) A dominant pitcher for Mishawaka softball from 1989–1992, Kelly earned First Team All-State honors and represented the school in the North-South All-Star Game. Kelly also excelled academically as a member of the National Honor Society and served as a two-time team captain. Alex Dolly — Class of 2003 (Wrestling) Alex distinguished himself as one of Mishawaka’s premier wrestlers, earning four First Team NIC honors, multiple Sectional and Regional Championships, and placing in the State tournament three times. He continued his career at the University of Northern Iowa as a four-time NCAA qualifier and three-time team captain before representing Ireland internationally in World and European Championships. Alex has also contributed to the sport as a coach at Michigan State University, Old Dominion University, Wartburg College, and several Iowa high schools. David J. Richards — Class of 1990 (Baseball & Basketball) David excelled in both baseball and basketball at Mishawaka, earning All-Conference honors and contributing to championship teams.
