Wawasee jumped out to an early lead. Mason Green scored to tie the game before Wawasee added one more before the half making it 2-1. In the second half, Chris Morrison scored on a rebound after the goalie saved a free kick taken by Gio Moreno. The score remained tied at two until Wawasee nudged another goal over the line with just under six minutes to go in the game. The final score was Wawasee 3 Mishawaka 2. The Cavemen travel to Culver Community Schools on Thursday for their next match.
