Colton Handley (1-1) started the game for Mishawaka Varsity Cavemen and recorded 18 outs. Mishawaka Varsity Cavemen lost despite out-hitting Goshen RedHawks four to three. Will Hartzke led Mishawaka Varsity Cavemen with two hits. Goshen RedHawks got on the board in the fifth inning after Karter Marcum singled, scoring one run. Handley started on the mound for Mishawaka Varsity Cavemen. The pitcher surrendered three hits and three runs over six innings, striking out three and walking three. Ryen Diaz stepped on the bump first for Goshen RedHawks. The right-handed pitcher allowed four hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out seven and walking four. Quinn Shreiner Landes, Braxton Cline, and Marcum each collected one hit for Goshen RedHawks. Jensen Meikle and Cline each drove in one run for Goshen RedHawks.
