Varsity vs Goshen High School Tuesday nights game was all about improvement. With the school year starting and the season starting the lady Cavemen were shaking of the rust from summer. Passing looked good for the cavemen early on and the defense for the ladies were holding their own. The cavemen ultimately fell short in the end but compared to the 2023 season the girls were a different team and were complemented by the refs and the Goshen head coach. Goshens coach said the girls seemed like a different team as the "fought like they really wanted it and had something to prove"-Goshen coach. That they did and it showed through the game. The refs said the girls will definitely hold their own in our conference as they played the defending conference champions like everything for the season was on the line. Junior Khloe Hershey made some gut wrenching saves to keep the cavemen alive. Senior captain Genna Bultinck kept her wits as she "gift wrapped" passes to her fellow teammates trying to keep the momentum alive. The cavemen's next game is against concord Thursday 8/22 at concord. Start time JV-5:30pm Varsity-7pm come out and see how the cavemen improve on their season
