The Lady Cavemen hosted a very good New Prairie team Tuesday night in the Cave. They trailed the Cougars early, but great defense kept the game close and the Lady Cavemen only found themselves down by 5 at the half. They were able to regroup at the half and fought back and took the lead late in the third and they kept it going into the 4th. With a narrow lead for most of the 4th, the Lady Cavemen were able to get a 7 point lead with 2 minutes to play and they held on by knocking down free throws in the final minute to Win 49-40! The Lady Cavemen were led by Seniors Asiah Shaffer with 21 points and Kasha Davidovic with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Freshmen Millie Mammolenti added to the mix with 8 points. During the game with 1 minute to play in the game, a Special moment occurred. Senior Asiah Shaffer was able to get her 1,000th point in her career! She is now the 8th Player to reach this Milestone in MHS History!!! She was able to finish with a game high 21 points, and 1,005 in her Career! Special Congratulations to this Young Lady!
