GOSHEN HIGH SCHOOL VS MISHAWAKA HIGH SCHOOL 60 50 Team 1 2 3 4 Goshen High School 21 14 14 11 Mishawaka High School 16 13 13 8 Thursday night, the Lady Cavemen hosted the Goshen Reskins in the Cave for Senior Night and the last regular season game. It was a night that started off with honoring and recognizing our three Seniors, Addy Brugh, Kasha Davidovic, and Asiah Shaffer and their accomplishments while being here at MHS. Over the course of the last four years, these three have been a huge part of the competitive and winning culture within this program. Thank You Seniors! The game was a fight between to evenly matched teams that saw multiple lead changes early on in the first half, with 37 points being scored in the first quarter alone. Goshen was able to grab the lead by 6 at the half. As the second half started, the Lady Cavemen were able to get the ball to fall in the hoop to cut the lead, but Goshen’s height and size caused some trouble for the Lady Cavemen and they were able to keep a short lead throughout the second half. As the Redskins would grow the lead, the Lady Cavemen would get it within reach late in the 4th, but unfortunately they never could regain the lead, but Goshen was able to seal the victory on the free throw line with a 60-50 win. The Lady Cavemen were led by Seniors Asiah Shaffer with 21 points and Kasha Davidovic with 17 points. The Lady Cavemen finish the regular season at 10-12, 3 straight seasons with double digit wins.
