Mishawaka JV Baseball Loses Despite Out Hitting Jimtown JV

Drew Ginter led the Cavemen with four hits. Ginter collected four singles in five at bats. Noah Deeds collected three hits, Colten Handley had two and Landon Johns had one. Johns led the team with two RBIs. Jimtown took the lead in the bottom of the first with a six run inning after Mishawaka scored two in the top of the inning. Jimtown added nine more runs in the second inning. Mishawaka fought back with two in the fourth and three in the fifth. Cooper Dillenbeck earned the win for Jimtown on the mound. He gave up three hits and two runs (zero earned) over three innings. Brady Francis took the loss for the Cavemen. He allowed six runs (two earned) on two hits in one inning. Drew Ginter pitched three and two-thirds innings in relief giving up zero runs and one hit while striking out seven and walking three. The Cavemen record is 0-1 on the year.
