The Lady Cavemen spotted the hosts an early 2-0 lead before MHS scored single runs in the 3rd and 4th innings to tie the game before scoring 2-runs in 5th to take the lead for good. The Lady Cavemen iced the game with a 3-run 6th and an insurance run the in 7th inning. Mishawaka junior Camila Ramirez-Quijada was outstanding in the circle allowing only 4-hits in 7 innings of work to pick up her second win on the young season. She struck out 14 Zebra batters, while reaching base 4 times. Sophomore Khloe Hershey paced the offense with 3-hits and 3 runs scored. Brynn Lewinski, Lilly St Clair and Cassie Connell each added a pair of hits. Lewinski and Sophia Hoover each added 2 RBI’s for the Lady Cavemen who improved to 2-0. By Brian Miller on Mar 31, 2024
