Mishawaka Varsity Cavemen Claim Victory Over Westview 4-0

The Cavemen were the first to get on the board in the first when Cooper Pritchett singled, scoring one run. The Cavemen added one run in the second after Westview committed an error. Brady Gallo (2-0) earned the win for the Cavemen. He surrended two hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out nine and walking four. Mason Wire too the loss for Westview. Wire went six innings, surrendering four runs (1 earned) on five hits, striking out eight and walking one. Pritchett led the Cavemen with one run batted in. He went 1-for-3 in the game. Trey DeBroka, Will Hartzke, Shawn Nowacki, Gage Spychalski, and Pritchett each collected one hit for the Cavemen. DeBroka stole two bases and the Cavemen stole 4 over all. The Cavemen turned two double plays in the game. The Cavemen were sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Kamdon Putz made the most plays with 10.
