Mishawaka Cavemen Defeat Plymouth in JV Baseball on Monday

The Cavemen didn’t waste any time by getting on the board in the bottom of the first inning. The Cavemen scored on a single and throwing error, a balk and a passed ball. Mishawaka added two more runs in the third, two in the fourth, and four in the fifth. The Cavemen collected eight hits on the day to three by the Pilgrims. Mishawaka also walked eight times. Kole Neace took the win on the mound, giving up one earned run in four innings and had four strikeouts. Jack Taylor threw three innings in relief giving up two earned runs. Grady Metsker took the loss for Plymouth. He went four innings giving up three earned runs. Zach Atkins, Ben Shively , and Cruz Rosas each collected a hit for the Pilgrims.
