Penn jumped out to the lead in the top of the first inning after Gavi Taylor singled, Braden Dydo his a sac fly, Harrison Haq doubled, Kam Chamness hit a sac fly, and a wild pitch added a run totalling six for the inning. Penn never looked back. Mishawaka’s Jack Taylor and Alex Dermody each had a hit. Taylor earned the win on the mound giving up zero hits and zero runs over four innings, striking out four and walking none. Brady Francis took the loss for the Cavemen.
