Mishawaka C-Team Baseball Victorious Over Fairfield in Eight Innings

Fairfield battled back with three runs in the fifth and added one more in the seventh. The Cavemen evened it up with two in the bottom of the seventh forcing extra innings. In the bottom of the eighth, Mishawaka scored the winning run on a wild pitch. Jackson Chlebek earned the win in relief for the Cavemen. Aiden Rogers started the game and pitched four and a third innings. They combined for eight strikeouts, six hits, two walks and four earned runs. Fairfield used five pitchers with C. Robinson suffering the loss. Alex Demaegd had three hits and scored the winning run in the eighth for the Cavemen. Chlebek had two hits. Breckin Stair and Harley Garl each collected two hits for the Falcons. Four players drove in runs for the Falcons Next up for Mishawaka is a double header at Penn on Tuesday.
