Mishawaka Cavemen Varsity Loses 4-0 Despite Out Hitting Concord

Cooper Pritchett led the Cavemen with two hits. Concord got on the board in the bottom of the fifth inning after Lukas Ulfig doubled, and Andrew Kavanaugh hit a sacrifice fly, each scoring one run. Braedon Messenger earned the win for Concord. The starting pitcher gave up seven hits and zero runs over seven innings. Trey DeBroka (1-1) took the loss for the Cavemen. The starting pitcher went six innings, surrendering four runs (one earned) on five hits, striking out four and walking two. Ulfig, the number seven hitter for Concord, led the way with three runs batted in. He went 2-for-3 on the day. Concord turned one double play in the game. Concord were sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Alex Kridler made the most plays with eight. The Cavemen drop their record to 6-4, 3-1 in the NLC.
