Megan Gerver singled, scoring one run, Mikaela Mercado doubled, scoring two runs, Leah Pierson doubled, scoring one run, and Aleigh Myers grounded out, scoring one run. Mishawaka added to their early lead in the top of the third inning after Damp singled, Gerver walked, and Mercado walked, each scoring one run. Myers earned the win for the Cavemen. The righty allowed four hits and two runs over three innings, striking out two and walking one. Letherman stepped in the circle first for St. Joe. The starting pitcher surrendered seven hits and seven runs (six earned) over three innings, striking out one and walking four. Mercado drove the middle of the line up, leading Mishawaka with three runs batted in. They went 2-for-2 on the day. Lynnaya West led Mishawaka with two walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, accumulating five walks for the game. Garcia led St. Joe with two hits in two at bats. Kerr and Prokop each drove in one run for St Joe.
