Varsity Cavemen Loses Despite Out Hitting Plymouth

Cooper Pritchett led the Cavemen with two hits. Plymouth got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Trey Delp singled, and Kaden Milliser hit into a fielder’s choice, each scoring one run. Plymouth added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning after Plymouth scored on a wild pitch, and Drake Feece doubled, each scoring one run. Malachi Sieh (2-1) earned the win for Plymouth. He surrendered seven hits and three runs over five and two-thirds innings, striking out five and walking two. Landon Johns (2-2) took the loss for the Cavemen. The starting pitcher went three innings, giving up four runs on five hits, striking out two and walking three. Aiden Price earned the save. The Cavemen accumulated nine hits in the game. Trey DeBroka, Tyler Thomas, and Pritchett each drove in one run for the Cavemen. The Cavemen were sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Brayden Freitag made the most plays with seven. Ethan Hall and Parker Wolfe were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected two hits for Plymouth. Milliser, Delp, Hall, Wolfe, and Feece each drove in one run for Plymouth. Plymouth didn’t commit a single erro in the field. Feece had the most chances in the field with six.
