Lilly St Clair and Olivia Bultinck led the offense with 3-hits apiece. St Clair had 3-doubles, 3-RBI’s and 3-runs scored. Bultinck had three singles and scored twice. Kallahan Steinman added a pair of hits, 2 stolen bases and 2 runs scored. MHS pounded out 13 hits as a team as they won their 10th game in a row. Lady Cavemen starter Camila Ramirez-Quijada went the distance in the circle scattering 5-hits and 2-walks while striking out nine Eagles, winning her 7th game on the mound this season. With the win, Mishawaka improves to 13-4. Other opening night scores in the Cavmen VS Cancer Classic opening night action: Fort Wayne Dwenger beat Fairfield 11-3. Western won over Niles 13-3.
