MHS hurlers combined to record 8 strikeouts. Mishawaka scored five runs in the top of the first inning to gain control as they won their 15th game in a row. The Lady Cavemen clubbed five doubles and had 11 hits on the day. Khloe Hershey, Holly Shine and Brynn Lewinski each had a pair of hits and scored a pair of runs. Lewinski added 3-RBI’s and 3-stolen bases. Mikaela Mercado came off the bench to belt a double in her only at bat. With the win, Mishawaka improves to 18-4 overall, 10-0 in the Northern Lakes Conference. Next action is Thursday at Baker Park versus rival Penn.
