Mishawaka JV Baseball Cannot Hold Onto Lead Versus Elkhart

The Lions scored four in the bottom of the third. The Cavemen scored two in the fourth to retake the lead. Elkhart came back to take a 7-6 lead in the bottom of the fifth by scoring three runs. That would be enough for Elkhart who added one more in the sixth. Eohen Von Doehren earned the win for Elkhart throwing three shutout innings in relief of Adam Grolich. Noah Deeds started for the Cavemen. He pitched two innings giving up one run and gave way to Maddux Kuhnle due to injury. Kuhnle took the loss. Walker Hawn led the Cavemen with three hits while Colten Handley had three RBIs. Elkhart had four players with two hits each. Jackson Mitchell led the way with two RBIs.
