Cavemen faced Trinity and New Prairie at Knollwood on a rainy Monday night

The Cavemen traveled to Knollwood Country Club on Monday night to face Trinity and New Prairie. The Cavemen’s team total of 184 was not enough to beat Trinity’s 161 or New Prairie’s 179. Brady Fisher was the low man for the Cavemen with a 41, Kaden Smith played bogey golf for a 45, Anderson Cannon had a 48, and Bren Dickerson and Aiden Szeltner each shot 50 in the loss. The JV team had a team total of 211 narrowly losing to Trinity’s 209 and defeating New Prairie’s 230. Edward Kozlowski was the low man on the JV shooting 49, Vincent Lopez shot 50, Carter Grontkowski had 55, Daniel Phillips carded a 57, and Mason Henrich was the throw away with a 60. The Cavemen return to NLC competition on Wednesday when the host Wawasee and Plymouth at Eberhart. After their final NLC round robin match Wednesday they will compete against Marian on Friday, and compete in the NLC championship on Saturday at Meadow Valley. By Patrick Hahn on May 13, 2024
