Mishawaka Varsity Cavemen Trounce Northridge May 22, 2026 vs. Northridge Mishawaka Varsity Cavemen won big over Northridge 10-4 on Friday at Mishawaka High School Ward Baker Park. Mishawaka Varsity Cavemen got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Pyle singled to right field, Johns grounded out, and Demaegd hit a sacrifice fly, each scoring one run. Mishawaka Varsity Cavemen added to their early lead in the bottom of the second inning after Putz grounded out, Handley singled down the right field line, and Pyle singled to center field, each scoring one run. Ginter earned the win for Mishawaka Varsity Cavemen. The pitcher allowed 10 hits and four runs (two earned) over six and two-thirds innings, striking out three and walking two. Ryan took the loss for Northridge. The starter went four innings, surrendering six runs on seven hits, striking out two and walking three. Deeds appeared in relief for Mishawaka Varsity Cavemen. Mishawaka Varsity Cavemen accumulated 12 hits in the game. Pyle, Kuhnle, Handley, Deeds, and Ginter each collected two hits for Mishawaka Varsity Cavemen.
