Mishawaka Varsity Cavemen Fall To Goshen After Surrendering Big Sixth Inning May 11, 2026 vs. Goshen Goshen scored four runs in the sixth inning, which helped them defeat Mishawaka Varsity Cavemen 6-0 on Monday. Goshen were the first to get on the board in the second when Hoag hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run. Diaz earned the win for Goshen. The hurler surrendered two hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out three and walking three. Ginter took the loss for Mishawaka Varsity Cavemen. The starting pitcher went six innings, giving up six runs (five earned) on seven hits, striking out four and walking one. Putz and Johns each collected one hit for Mishawaka Varsity Cavemen. Hoag, the number seven hitter for Goshen, led the way with two runs batted in. Rapp and Meikle each collected two hits for Goshen. Goshen turned one double play in the game. Mishawaka Varsity Cavemen (13-4, NLC 6-3) play at home for Senior Night on Tuesday against Fairfield in their next game.
