May 11, 2026 vs. Goshen Junior Varsity Redhawks Goshen Junior Varsity Redhawks defeated Mishawaka Junior Varsity Cavemen 15-0 on Monday at Goshen High School thanks in part to eight runs in the fourth inning. Goshen Junior Varsity Redhawks got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Freitez singled to center field, and DeMott grounded out, each scoring one run. Goshen Junior Varsity Redhawks added to their early lead in the bottom of the second inning after Valera doubled down the left field line, Kwilinski singled down the right field line, and Scales singled , each scoring one run. Goshen Junior Varsity Redhawks added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning after Aquino hit a sacrifice fly, and Besser singled, each scoring one run. Goshen Junior Varsity Redhawks scored eight runs on four hits in the bottom of the fourth inning. DeMott singled, scoring one run, Aquino was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, Valera tripled, scoring three runs, an error scored one run, and Diemer Abney singled, scoring two runs. DeMott earned the win for Goshen Junior Varsity Redhawks. The right-handed pitcher surrendered two hits and zero runs over four innings, striking out seven and walking one. Gorsuch took the loss for Mishawaka Junior Varsity Cavemen. The hurler went three innings, surrendering seven runs (five earned) on 10 hits, striking out two and walking two. Darnell, Summers, and Mercado each collected one hit for Mishawaka Junior Varsity Cavemen. Goshen Junior Varsity Redhawks piled up 14 hits in the game.
