Mishawaka Varsity Cavemen Falls To Warsaw May 5, 2026 vs. Warsaw Mishawaka Varsity Cavemen fell to Warsaw 8-3 on Tuesday at Mishawaka High School Ward Baker Park. Mishawaka Varsity Cavemen were the first to get on the board in the first when Johns singled, scoring one run. Brock singled down the left field line, which helped Warsaw tie the game at one in the top of the third. An error gave Warsaw the lead, 3-1, in the top of the fifth. Warsaw scored five runs on three hits in the top of the seventh inning. Kim singled, scoring two runs, Brock doubled, scoring one run, and Bradford tripled, scoring two runs. O'Malley earned the win for Warsaw. The starting pitcher allowed seven hits and three runs (two earned) over six and two-thirds innings, striking out six and walking four. Ginter took the loss for Mishawaka Varsity Cavemen. The pitcher went six innings, allowing three runs (one earned) on four hits, striking out six and walking seven. Kuhnle and Demaegd each collected two hits for Mishawaka Varsity Cavemen. Handley and Johns each drove in one run for Mishawaka Varsity Cavemen. Mishawaka Varsity Cavemen turned one double play in the game. Bradford and Brock were tough to handle back-to-back in the lineup, as each drove in two runs for Warsaw.
