Mishawaka Varsity Cavemen Beat Concord April 28, 2026 vs. Concord Mishawaka Varsity Cavemen beat Concord 6-3 on Tuesday at Mishawaka High School Ward Baker Park. Concord were the first to get on the board in the second when an error scored one run. Mishawaka Varsity Cavemen flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the second, scoring five runs on five hits to take the lead, 5-1. The biggest blow in the inning was an error that drove in two. Ginter (3-0) earned the win for Mishawaka Varsity Cavemen. The pitcher gave up five hits and three runs (two earned) over seven innings, striking out six and walking five. Jones took the loss for Concord. The hurler went four innings, surrendering six runs (one earned) on seven hits, striking out two and walking three. Pyle, Putz, Deeds, Demaegd, Rogers, Ginter, and Johns each collected one hit for Mishawaka Varsity Cavemen. Handley, Putz, Deeds, and Johns each drove in one run for Mishawaka Varsity Cavemen. Rogers stole two bases. Flores and Gomez were tough to handle back-to-back in the lineup, as each drove in one run for Concord. Jones went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Concord in hits. Concord turned one double play in the game. Mishawaka Varsity Cavemen (7-2, NLC 3-1) welcome NorthWood Varsity Baseball (7-2, NLC 3-1) on Wednesday for their next game.
