Mishawaka Cavemen C-Team Surge Past Lowell Thanks To Big First Inning

April 25, 2026 vs. Lowell Mishawaka Cavemen C-Team scored eight runs in the first inning, which helped them defeat Lowell 8-0 on Saturday at Mishawaka High School Ward Baker Park. Cochran singled, scoring one run, Forslund singled, scoring one run, Delgado grounded out, scoring one run, Pulaski singled, scoring one run, Darnell tripled, scoring three runs, and Summers singled, scoring one run. Forslund earned the win for Mishawaka Cavemen C-Team. The right-handed pitcher allowed three hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out four and walking one. Woestman took the loss for Lowell. The hurler went three and two-thirds innings, allowing eight runs (zero earned) on six hits, striking out two and walking two. Darnell went 1-for-2 at the plate and led the team with three runs batted in. Fisher, Pulaski, Summers, Forslund, Cochran, and Darnell each collected one hit for Mishawaka Cavemen C-Team. Mishawaka Cavemen C-Team turned one double play in the game. Rush, Gierucki, and Matthews each collected one hit for Lowell.
