Ginter Leads Mishawaka Varsity Cavemen Past Plymouth April 20, 2026 vs. Plymouth Ginter struck out 10 batters as the pitcher led Mishawaka Varsity Cavemen past Plymouth 6-2 on Monday. Ginter allowed five hits and two runs over six and one-third innings while walking five. Plymouth got on the board in the top of the first inning after Feece walked, and Terrone grounded out, each scoring one run. Pyle singled down the left field line, which helped Mishawaka Varsity Cavemen tie the game at two in the bottom of the third. In the bottom of the sixth, Mishawaka Varsity Cavemen broke up the tie when Deeds singled, scoring three runs. Then a walk by Ginter followed to extend the lead to 6-2. Manzuk took the loss for Plymouth. The hurler went five and one-third innings, giving up six runs (five earned) on seven hits, striking out four and walking four. Handley collected the save. Pyle and Deeds each drove in two runs for Mishawaka Varsity Cavemen. Mishawaka Varsity Cavemen had a strong eye at the plate, amassing seven walks for the game. Putz and Ginter led the team with two bases on balls each. Mishawaka Varsity Cavemen were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Putz made the most plays with 11. Feece and Terrone were a one-two punch in the lineup, as each drove in one run for Plymouth. Shively went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Plymouth in hits.
