In the top of the fourth, Plymouth Junior Varsity Pilgrims broke up the tie when Cain doubled, scoring two runs. Then an error followed to extend the lead to 4-1. Cain earned the win for Plymouth Junior Varsity Pilgrims. The right-handed pitcher surrendered three hits and one run over four innings, striking out four and walking three. Huemmer took the loss for Mishawaka Junior Varsity Cavemen. The hurler went four and two-thirds innings, allowing six runs (four earned) on five hits, striking out seven and walking four. Mercado led Mishawaka Junior Varsity Cavemen with two hits in four at bats. Darnell and Ecker each drove in one run for Mishawaka Junior Varsity Cavemen. Gorsuch stole three bases.
