Pyle singled in the sixth inning, singled in the second inning, and singled in the fourth inning. Mishawaka Varsity Cavemen got on the board in the bottom of the second inning after Cayson Meyer singled to center field, and Maddux Kuhnle lined out, each scoring one run. Mishawaka Varsity Cavemen scored six runs on three hits in the bottom of the sixth inning. Drew Ginter singled, scoring one run, Pyle singled, scoring two runs, and Kuhnle singled, scoring two runs. Colton Handley earned the win for Mishawaka Varsity Cavemen. The hurler allowed two hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out six and walking none. Owen Weinberg took the loss for Westview. The hurler went five and one-third innings, giving up nine runs on six hits, striking out four and walking five. Landon Johns appeared in relief for Mishawaka Varsity Cavemen. Kuhnle and Brady Francis each drove in three runs for Mishawaka Varsity Cavemen. Ginter collected two hits for Mishawaka Varsity Cavemen in four at bats. Aiden Rogers paced Mishawaka Varsity Cavemen with two walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, tallying six walks for the game. Mishawaka Varsity Cavemen turned one double play in the game. Elijah Zolman provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Westview with two runs batted in.
