Mishawaka Cavemen Varsity defeated Watervliet 10-0 on Saturday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. AJ Rosebush induced a fly out from Kehrer to finish off the game.

Mishawaka Cavemen Varsity notched five runs in the fifth inning. The offensive onslaught by Mishawaka Cavemen Varsity was led by Donovan Snyder, Rosebush, Nick Bodle, and Ryan Watt, all knocking in runs in the inning.

A single by Kehrer in the second inning was a positive for Watervliet.

Bryce Gruler took the win for Mishawaka Cavemen Varsity. He allowed two hits and zero runs over five and a third innings, striking out 11. Rosebush threw two-thirds of an inning in relief out of the bullpen. Rosebush recorded the last two outs to earn the save for Mishawaka Cavemen Varsity.

Pline took the loss for Watervliet. He lasted three innings, allowing one hit and one run.
Snyder went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Mishawaka Cavemen Varsity in hits. Bodle led Mishawaka Cavemen Varsity with two stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with nine stolen bases.
