The Cavemen travelled back to McCormick Creek for the NIC Conference tournament. The ladies were excited to play McCormick Creek because they played there early in the year and were excited to get another chance at the course. The Cavemen were led by sophomores, Grace Vandenburg (105) and Liv Stamm (113). The freshman followed up with Claire Braniff (121), Joszlyn Thompson (122), and Sarah Burns (123). Sarah showed the greatest improvement by cutting 12 shots off her earlier score, and Liv followed her by lowering by 10 strokes. Each player broke 60 on either the front or the back. The ladies start out their final week of the season by taking on New Prairie and Washington at Eberhart on Monday. This is your last chance to see the 2019 girls golf team in action before they start the postseason. The Cavemen play Friday at Knollwood Country Club at 9:00 a.m. in the IHSAA Sectional.
