Mishawaka Boys Swimming & Diving notched the first victory of the season in a home meet against the St. Joe Indians, totaling 30 PRs out of 51 total swims!
The pool was electrified from the very first event, the 200 Medley relay, where the difference between 1st and 2nd place was a mere 0.12 seconds. It was clear that we were in for some great races throughout the night, and that’s exactly what we got.
Cavemen dominated the top spots throughout the competition. Sophomore Eric Arseneau took 1st places in both the 50 Freestyle and the 100 Butterfly. Freshman Trevor Heintzberger and sophomore Aaron Sacha went 1-2 in the 500 Freestyle, junior Captian Zach Springman and senior Captain Camren Northcutt went 1-2 in the 100 Breaststroke, and the team of Max VanGoey, Kyle Schierbaum, Brant Zickefoose and Trevor Heintzberger ended the meet with a victory in the 400 Freestyle relay.
Congratulations on a hard fought, well earned “DUBYA” !
