JV softball win home opener

The JV came hungry in their home opener against Warsaw coming out on top with a 17-3 score. The winning pitcher was Ashley Germann who had 5 strikeouts. Lady Cavemen offense was on fire; highlights include 3 hits from Lexi Schlemmer and Alexis Davenport with a single, double, triple, and 3 RBI coming from Davenport.

JV Wins Season Opener over Goshen

The Lady Cavemen JV came out strong in the season opener at Goshen High School, securing their first win, 7-4. The winning pitcher was Chloe’ Plunkett with 7 strike outs and also contributing on the offensive end with 3 hits. Mishawaka Wins Softball Opener

The Lady Cavemen scored in every inning including 5 runs in the 4th and 6 in the 5th to hold off a feisty Lakeland team, 17-7 in both teams season opener.  Mishawaka used a pair of doubles from winning pitcher Maddy Edmonson.
