Cassie Connell threw a shutout to lead Mishawaka past Chesterton 11-0 on Saturday in Game #2. Connell was in the pitcher’s circle for MHS. The righthander went four and two-thirds innings, allowing zero runs on three hits and striking out three.  The Cavemen tallied 12 hits. Lily Hanback, Hoover, Connell, and Ella Davis all had multiple hits for Mishawaka. Hoover and Hanback each managed three hits.
