Mishawaka Super Sophomore Vivian Miller broke her 2nd school record Tuesday night. In the meet against Elkhart Central, Miller was stretching before the 50 Yard Freestyle and told one of her teammates, “I’m nervous”. The nerves didn’t stop her as she blazed to a record time of 25.57, breaking the old mark set by Kim Schmanski in 2010.
Miller also broke the 100 Yard Freestyle record twice earlier this season. Her time of 55.52 was more than a second faster than Schmanski’s 2010 time of 56.78.
Mishawaka and Miller are back home this Saturday for the NIC Conference Championships. The Cavemen also host the Girls IHSAA Sectionals on January 31st and February 2nd.
